Nanaimo will also host a celebration station for this city’s Commuter Challenge event, which starts Sunday, June 3 and runs until June 9.

The Commuter Challenge promotes cycling, walking or other alternative methods to get to work and school while staying active as well as taking public transit and carpooling. Commuters can also mix and match ways of getting to work, such as splitting their commute up by cycling part way before hopping on a bus to complete their daily journeys.
