The Comox Valley RCMP wants to ensure the well-being of David Pineo.
The 73-year-old left his residence in Black Creek today (Friday) and hitch-hiked towards Nanaimo. He was last seen south of Courtenay at approximately 2:30 p.m.
Pineo is non-verbal due to some medical issues. He was last seen wearing a blue baseball cap, brown jacket and blue jeans.
“We are looking for any motorists who may have offered David a ride to give us a call,” said Const. Monika Terragni, Comox Valley RCMP media relations officer. “We are concerned for David’s well-being and want to ensure he is alright.”
