Mission’s Julie Shushack was surprised to see a bobcat sitting peacefully in her backyard.
The animal was resting peacefully in the trees by her Buffalo Drive home.
Her neighbours, on Eagle Crescent, said they also saw the bobcat in their yard in the past two days.
The animal appears to be traveling around the forested area between Wren Street and 14th Ave.
The incident has been reported to the local conservation office.
Shushack said she was informed that bobcats are “typically not aggressive.”
