Body discovered near Willowbrook Road

Few details known - police promise to release new information today

An RCMP vehicle sits at the intersection of White Lake and Willowbrook Roads Wednesday morning along with the police service dog vehicle near where a body is believed to have been found overnight.

RCMP are continuing to investigate after a body was found in the Willowbrook area south of Penticton.

A police presence remained in the area Wednesday morning with multiple officers and a police service dog was observed near the intersection of White Lake Road and Willowbrook Road searching on the side of the road.

RCMP told the Western News a press release is forthcoming later today (Jan. 18).
