An investigation is underway after a body was located in Kalamalka Lake.

On Sunday at about 2:25 p.m., Vernon RCMP were called to Cosens Bay in Kalamalka Lake Provincial Park after a body was found in the water.

“RCMP are attempting to determine the circumstances of this occurrence,” said Const. Jocelyn Noseworthy.

The B.C. Corone’s Service and the RCMP are continuing to investigate the incident.

No further information is being released at this time.
