Human remains found in a wooded area near the boundary of Hope and Agassiz on Wednesday are being investigated by the RCMP’s Integrated Homicide Investigation Team.
But whether foul play is involved, or how the remains came to this location, has not been determined. The remains were found at about 11:30 a.m.
Police investigators, including the Agassiz RCMP serious crime unit and the BC Coroner’s office, are on the scene now examining the site, which will likely take several days.
