Creston RCMP responded to a break and enter at Wynndel Foods located at 5128 Hwy 3A in Wynndel Thursday morning.
CCTV showed the offense occurred at 4:14 AM. The suspects attempted to gain access to the ATM inside the store before stealing 16 non-restricted long gun firearms.
According to a RCMP news release the firearms were a combination of small calibre rifles and shotguns. All firearms were either cable locked or had a trigger lock. The brand of most of the stolen firearms were “Savage”.
The suspects fled in a dark-colored newer model Ford F-150southbound on Hwy 3A.
