A public consultation hearing about next year’s provincial budget will be held in Kitimat on Oct. 15.
The input from the public will be used to help determine what will be included in the 2013/2014 budget.
“Our government wants to engage British Columbians and hear from them about what they want to see in their budget,” said Douglas Horne, MLA for Coquitlam-Burke Mountain and who is chairing the Select Standing Committee on Finance and Government Services.
The committee is bipartisan and will be visiting 19 communities in B.C.
They will be in the Community Room at Riverlodge from 5 to 8 p.m.
