Budget public consultation underway

B.C. Liberals seeking budget input

 

The Select Standing Committee on Finance and Government Services has embarked on its province-wide budget consultations.

This year’s consultation process includes public hearings in 13 communities, and two videoconference hearings covering an additional eight locations. The public is invited to attend the hearings or participate by sending a written submission, responding to the online survey, or submitting an audio or video file.

The public hearings closest to the 100 Mile House area occur on Sept. 21.

The morning session will be held in Williams Lake in Room 106 of the Pioneer Complex, 351 Hodgson Rd., from 9 a.m. to noon.

Later that afternoon from 4 to 8 p.m., the hearing will be held in the 2nd Floor Grand Hall at Thompson Rivers University, 900 McGill Rd., in Kamloops.
