Himalayan Spice Bistro debuts breakfast menu
One of Fernie’s most popular spots for delicious Indian cuisine has recently created a tantalizing breakfast menu.
The breakfast menu promises a “true fusion of flavours” to “enlighten your taste buds” and includes a variety of items such as omelettes, shakshuka, eggs and bacon and more.
The breakfast menu will be available Wednesday to Sunday from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., while the restaurant will continue to serve up delicious curries and accompaniments during their regular hours.
Fernie Distillers sell products in Columbia Valley
Fernie’s favourite local distillery announced on July 21 that their products can now be found in Fairmont, Invermere and Radium.
Fernie Distillers products can now be found in the Fairmont Mountainside Market, the Radium Liquor Store and the Invermere Liquor Store.
According to a Facebook post by the local company, shoppers will now be able to find No. 9 Mine Vodka, Fernie Fog Liqueur and Prospector Gin in more stores than ever.
Fernie Legion updates operating procedures
Following new orders from the provincial health officer, the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 36 will be making a number of changes to keep patrons and staff safe.
The pool table and dart board are now closed and patrons will be seated at tables of no more than six. In addition, individuals may not move between tables to visit.
In a Facebook post, The Legion noted that “we really appreciate how everyone has been supporting The Fernie Legion since we reopened and invite everyone to come and enjoy a cold beer with us this summer.”
The Legion will now be closing at 7 p.m. on Saturdays but will continue to remain open 3-9 p.m. on Wednesdays and Fridays.
