A cougar was caught on a surveillance camera, roaming in a driveway of a Parksville home near Foster Park early Saturday morning.
Adriana Gamble, who lives in a housing development area that borders the park, said she was alarmed to find out that there was big cat lurking in the area.
“There are lots of children in the neighbourhood,” said Gamble. “There are lots of families walking with their dogs in the park.”
The photo was shared to the community by the owner of the surveillance camera, to inform neighbours that a cougar has been sighted and to be careful.
