Things are moving fast at the Campbell River Golf &Country Club.

Their project team has spent the last months thoroughly assessing the course and planning for its 2017 revitalization. They have come to the conclusion that in order to offer guests the best possible golf experience, it’s best they refocus their efforts on completing the full course redesign early. As such, they have decided not to open the course for 2017, but rather aim for a grand re-opening in early 2018.

The new course was designed by Graham Cooke &Associates of Northern Golf Design. The master plan not only focuses on course design, but aims to add to the golf experience through an extensive new practice facility and golf house.

But note that their pro shop remains open this summer, with staff available to walk you through the large-scale images of the new master plan, and answer any questions you might have. Drop in to share in the excitement, and pick up your new Campbell River G.C.C. gear. For the most up to date hours of operation of the Pro Shop, refer to their Facebook page.

The Sandtrap Restaurant &Lounge, however, is already open for business, welcoming diners seven days a week for breakfast, lunch. and dinner. Their chef has developed a delicious menu, and works daily to offer specials that highlight our region’s freshest ingredients. With a complete drink menu and comfortable kid section, the Sandtrap offers something for all ages.
