To celebrate Canada’s 146th birthday, the City of Victoria is throwing a weekend-long party in downtown Victoria full of musical performances, a food court and topping off Canada Day with an annual fireworks display.
Beginning June 30, head down to Ship Point and check out A Flavour of Canada, a busy food court full of the city’s best food trucks and culinary experts.
While you’re there, visit The Zone Stage, where the likes of Rococode, Stef Lang and Woodsmen will provide musical entertainment into the evening.
On Canada Day, head to the B.C. legislature front lawn for performances throughout the day and into the evening, featuring JUNO-nominated Hey Ocean!, The Kerplunks, Acres of Lions and Kathryn Calder.
To help keep traffic moving, the city will be offering a free bike valet service at the event.
