Nanaimo will have six names on the ballot as it chooses its next MLA.
The list of candidates running in Nanaimo byelection is now finalized: Tony Harris, B.C. Liberals; Sheila Malcolmson, NDP; Michele Ney, B.C. Green Party; Justin Greenwood, B.C. Conservatives; Robin Richardson, Vancouver Island Party; Bill Walker, B.C. Libertarians.
The byelection is Jan. 30.
On general voting day, polls will be open from 8 a.m.- 8 p.m. Advance voting takes place Jan. 22-27.
