Calls aren’t getting through to Vernon Taxi today, as the company’s phone lines are down.
The company said it has been experiencing problems since earlier this morning.
When the 250-545-3337 number is dialed, the only thing that greets the caller is a busy signal.
“Bell phone lines are still down and we are at their mercy,” a spokesperson from the company said.
Bell sent a tweet out this morning stating full Bell Mobility and Virgin Mobile services have been restored for B.C. customers around 10 p.m. Sunday. The outage, the company said, was due to a damaged third-party fibre line near North Bend.
Update: Full Bell Mobility and Virgin Mobile services were restored for customers in BC at 10pm yesterday. Thank you for your patience while we worked as fast as possible to get things up and running throughout the province.
