Car and pickup collide at Waddington Road intersection

One woman treated by paramedics at scene after accident at Terminal and Waddington on Friday morning

Firefighters and B.C. Ambulance paramedics dealt with a collision between a sedan and a pickup truck at the Waddington Road and Terminal Avenue intersection this morning.

The incident happened shortly before 11:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 7.

According to emergency personnel at the scene, one of the vehicles was southbound and the other was crossing the intersection when they collided.

The male driver of the pickup was not injured. The woman driving the sedan was treated by B.C. Ambulance Service paramedics at the scene.

Terminal Avenue southbound traffic was funnelled into one lane until the wreck could be cleared.
