A car and a truck crashed near Country Club Centre on a foggy night in Nanaimo.
Emergency crews were called to the intersection of Norwell Drive and Departure Bay Road on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. for a two-vehicle accident.

The collision involved a car that had been turning left from Norwell onto Departure Bay Road and a truck that had been travelling along Norwell through the intersection in the opposite direction.
Nanaimo Fire Rescue on the scene said the two drivers were the only occupants of the respective vehicles and both individuals were taken to hospital with no more than minor injuries.
Three of Norwell’s four lanes were closed for about a half hour while crews cleared the scene.
