“Witnesses at the scene told police that a grey Pontiac Sunfire, travelling along Byland Road, was struck on its passenger side by a white Kia Sportage which had been travelling along Bartley Road,” said Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey, with the RCMP.
“Police believe that the driver of the Pontiac Sunfire failed to come to a complete stop at the stop sign before entering the intersection. The driver and passenger of that vehicle (Pontiac Sunfire), a man and a woman, were each transported to the hospital for further medical assessment of what police believe to be non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the Kia Sportage was medically assessed and released at the scene by emergency paramedics.”
