The old Island Highway was partially blocked in north Nanaimo after a two-car crash earlier this afternoon.
First responders arrived at the scene of the accident at Mary Ellen Drive and the highway just after noon. A Honda sedan and a Smart car were involved; no injuries were reported. The crash scene blocked one northbound lane.
