Cash Stolen from Jean Marie Joseph school

A donation box was taken earlier this month from the school on the Yekooche reserve.

Fort St. James — A donation box containing over $500 was taken last Wednesday out of the Jean Marie Joseph School.

Nobody was there at the time of the robbery, however, video footage shows two males entering the building through a window and then helping themselves to the contents of the donation box. One of the males has such a unique hairstyle, the RCMP knew who it was right away which led to his immediate capture. Police are still however looking for the other male involved. The RCMP encourages anyone to come forward with further information by calling Fort St. James RCMP at 1-250-996-8269 or to contact BC Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 if they would like to remain anonymous.
