The fourth annual Columbia Basin Cultural Tour took place Aug- 11-12 across the entire region, including, of course, the West Kootenays.

The tour featured over 70 locations throughout the area featuring everything from clay, glass, history, paintings, writers, archives, and quilts.

Castlegar is, of course, a big part of the tour with our great focus on the arts. On the tour from here are the Doukhobor Discovery Centre, Selkirk Weavers and Spinners Guild, Kootenay Gallery of Art, Sandra Donohue and Mirja Vahala.
