Some of the best Christmas light displays in Nanaimo are worth searching out.

The Greater Nanaimo Chamber of Commerce is again looking for the best residential and commercial displays with its Spirit of Christmas Light Up, in partnership with the Nanaimo News Bulletin.

Community members are asked to submit photos of their decorated business or house, with the 20 most impressive displays earning a spot on the Spirit of Christmas Light Up tour map. The top displays will also be eligible to win prizes.

Photos should be e-mailed to admin@nanaimochamber.bc.ca by noon on Dec. 12. For more information, call 250-756-1191.

To help in the search, the Nanaimo News Bulletin is holding a contest on our website at www.nanaimobulletin.com/contests. Readers are asked to submit photos of lights until Dec. 12, and then vote for their favourite until Dec. 14. The top vote-getter and a random voter will each win a $50 gift card to Quality Foods.
