Chilliwack Cultural Centre cancels spring break camps, suspends other classes

The announcement came Monday, following the centre's Friday statement postponing larger events

The Chilliwack Cultural Centre has now cancelled all of its spring break camps, and all other classes and open studio sessions have been suspended.

The announcement came Monday as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The centre postponed all of its larger events (currently up until April 11) on Friday following the B.C. government’s ban on all events with more than 250 people.

“Events that will have audiences of less than 250 patrons will continue as scheduled unless they are suspended by the artists or we are directed otherwise by the Fraser Health Authority, the City of Chilliwack, British Columbia Government, or Canadian Federal Government,” read Friday’s announcement from the Cultural Centre.
