RCMP are looking for a woman who allegedly used stolen credit cards to make several fraudulent purchases at several Chilliwack businesses.
Investigators have linked a Caucasian female, standing five-foot-six and weighing 275 pounds with black hair, to property that had been reported stolen to the Abbotsford Police Department.
Some of that property was recovered during a traffic stop in the 8000-block of Lickman Road in late December, and a 32-year-old man was arrested (and later released). During the followup investigation, officers connected additional credit cards with purchases made in Chilliwack between Jan. 4 and 7.
The female suspect was spotted on a business security camera.
RCMP are reaching out to the public for assistance identifying the person in the photograph,
said RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Mike Rail.
Police say the woman may be connected to a blue four-door Hyundai sedan and anyone with info is asked to phone the Chilliwack RCMP at 604-792-4611 or dial anonymously Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
