City of Parksville crews will once again install Christmas lights on the trees on Alberni Highway and at the Parksville Civic and Technology Centre.
Installation began on Wednesday, Nov. 21 and will continue on Thursday, Nov. 22.
Crews will be working from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with a number of trucks deployed. For this reason, parking will be extremely limited on the Alberni Highway.
Crews will work in unison on the Alberni Highway, starting at the CIBC at Highway 19A, on the west side moving up the highway and starting near the Royal Bank, on the east side moving down the highway.
Once crews have installed the lights on the trees, parking spaces will come available again.
The Parksville Downtown Business Association Bright Friday Parksville downtown Christmas light-up event is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 23 at 5 p.m. on Morison Avenue.
