The City of Parksville has issued two requests for proposals related to the Parksville Aquatic and Recreation Centre.
The first is a land analysis and site condition assessment, where the city intends to hire a consultant to co-ordinate various assessments for the proposed location of a new swimming pool and community recreation centre.
The second proposal is for a public consultation strategy, which will require the city to hire a consultant to conduct comprehensive public engagement with the community on the siting, costing and design. Parksville city council has already identified a preferred site and can provide its initial reasons for choosing this location.
