City crews were busy clearing snow to kick off the new year in the lakecity Tuesday.
Snow fell over Williams Lake New Years Eve and New Years Day, giving the city a fresh start to 2019.

No major incidents were reported by police overnight, and there were no travel advisories or weather warnings to speak of.
The weather forecast for the week calls for cloudy skies Wednesday and a 40 per cent chance of snow in the afternoon with periods of snow ending near midnight followed by cloudy skies with 40 percent chance of flurries amounting to two centimetres.
Williams Lake residents can expect periods of snow on Thursday as well with a daytime high of 6C before the sun comes out on Friday.
