Scramble golf tourney cancelled
The Aug. 18 Scramble for Literacy Golf Tournament at the Marmot Ridge Golf Course has been cancelled. The Cariboo Chilcotin Partners for Literacy, which was hosting the event, called it off on Thursday due to a lack of sufficient registered golfers for the event.
Idols pub gig cancelled
The Cariboo Idols performance scheduled for Aug. 18 at the Iron Horse Pub has been cancelled.
