COVID-19: Ferny Coombe Pool re-opening delayed

Opening delayed until further notice

The District of Kent Community Recreation and Cultural Centre issued an announcement Wednesday (April 15) that the Ferny Coombe Pool opening has been delayed until further notice.

“The Ferny Coombe Pool was scheduled to open on May 4, 2020,” the announcement reads. “However, due to COVID-19, [it] will be delayed for opening until further notice.”

The District of Kent is watching the coronavirus situation closely and following orders per the Ministry of Health in order to help stop the spread of COVID-19.

“We will resume the opening of all our facilities once the Ministry of Health advises it is safe to do so,” the announcement concludes.
