Due to concerns regarding the spread of COVID-19 and staffing shortages, the McLeese Lake Recycling Depot is closed until further notice.
The Cariboo Regional District (CRD) is asking residents to please store their recyclables at home, as the Depot will re-open as soon as possible.
Alternatively, the Wildwood Depot is still operational, but the CRD encourages residents to minimize their travelling at this time.
“We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this challenging time,” the CRD states in a March 25 news release.
