Anyone 30 years or older in Quesnel and area can now book an appointment to receive their COVID-19 shot.
Vaccination clinics at Arena 2 continue to run regularly from Tuesday to Saturday, said Northern Health (NH).
Individuals must register first, after which they will receive a text, email or phone call from the B.C. Government to book an appointment.
As of Friday, May 7, at least 45 per cent of eligible British Columbians have received at least one of two doses.

According to Northern Health, the Quesnel Health Region includes Wells, Barkerville, Bowron, Nazko, Wells, Barlow Creek, Kersley, Bouchie Lake and Moose Heights.
Provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry and Minister of Health Adrian Dix said the age-based eligibility would continue to decrease in the coming days.
“We are also expanding our worker program to many more workplaces, reducing the potential barrier for outbreaks and clusters with front-line workers,” Henry and Dix stated in a joint news release.
In most of the province only those 40 years and older are eligible to receive a vaccination.
The B.C. Government noted appointments at most pharmacies are full for people born in 1991 or earlier to receive the AstraZeneca vaccine.
Participating pharmacies in Quesnel include Shoppers Drug Mart, Walmart and Extra Foods.
In the Northern Health region, more than 102,000 doses have been administered at NH clinics.
