A man and woman were taken to Nanaimo Regional General Hospital with what police described as serious injuries after their motorcycle collided with a pickup truck Thursday at Terminal Avenue and Rosehill Street.
The accident happened shortly before 5 p.m. in rush hour traffic.
The driver of the pickup reported no injuries, but was ticketed for failing to yield at a stop sign.
Police did not have an update on the condition of the motorcyclists Friday morning.
