Creston RCMP responded to 53 calls for service from Feb. 6-12, Staff Sgt. Bob Gollan said on Feb. 13.

February 8

•A red Ford pickup was reported to have passed a school bus displaying flashing lights on Highway 3A.

•A female who shoplifted a dog sweater from a Northwest Boulevard business has been banned from the store.

•A vehicle reported to be blocking a driveway on Beam Road was gone when police arrived.

•An intoxicated male on Northwest Boulevard was arrested for causing a disturbance after he was reported to be destroying furniture in his residence. He was arrested and held in police cells until sober.

•A vehicle sustained major damage when it collided with an elk near Goatfell on Highway 3. The humans were not injured.

•A 911 call routed through the Whimster Road cellphone tower could not be traced to an owner.

•A Cedar Street resident reported that a male was looking in the window of the residence. Police found footprints but could not trace them to the culprit.
