Creston RCMP responded to 57 calls for service from March 5-11, Staff Sgt. Bob Gollan said on March 12.

March 8

•When police officers arrived at a Kootenay Road residence to investigate a 911 call, they could find only dogs on the premises. And they, apparently, weren’t talking.

•A brown four-door sedan, the subject of a driving complaint from West Creston Road, was not located.

•Police were called to assist ambulance attendants when they encountered locked doors at an Erickson Street residence. No one was found in the premises.

•Under investigation is a complaint about unauthorized purchases on the debit card of a 10th Avenue South resident.

•Minor hit and run damage to a 1989 Ford Econoline was reported on Eighth Avenue South.

•When police arrived at a 19th Avenue South residence to investigate a complaint about someone smoking marijuana outside, they found the accused were smoking Arabic tobacco.

•A wallet containing cash and identification cards was found by a Good Samaritan and later returned to the owner by police.
