Chilliwack is the scene for the latest Crime Stoppers ‘Crime of the Week.’
Police are still trying to identify a woman who allegedly used stolen credit cards to make fraudulent purchases at several Chilliwack businesses. The suspect, described as Caucasian, standing five-foot-six and weighing 275 pounds with black hair, allegedly used the stolen credit cards between Jan. 4 and 7.
RCMP say the credit cards were among property previously reported stolen to the Abbotsford Police Department.

Some of that property was recovered during a traffic stop in the 8000-block of Lickman Road in late December, and a 32-year-old man was arrested (and later released). During the followup investigation, officers made the connection to the woman.
An image of the suspect was taken from a business security camera, and RCMP believe she may be connected to a blue four-door Hyundai sedan.
