Sometime overnight of May 20-21, unknown culprits entered, started, moved and then set fire to a Ford F450 flat deck truck, which had been parked at a logging operation on the 610 Road approximately 20 kilometres north off the 600 Road north of Canim Lake.
Campers at nearby Susan Lake reported hearing noises in the vicinity between 7 and 8 p.m. on May 20. The damage and loss is estimated to be $20,000, and the investigation into this matter is continuing.
