Crowsnest Pass RCMP confirm suspicious deaths as murder-suicide

The RCMP responded to a call in Coleman last week and discovered two people dead

Crowsnest Pass RCMP have reported the deaths of two people in Coleman last week have been confirmed as a murder-suicide.

The local RCMP were called to a home in Coleman early on Friday, Feb. 5, and found a man and woman dead.

Their deaths were deemed suspicious, and RCMP major crimes and forensic identification services were called in to assist.

The chief medical examiner has since confirmed that a 40-year-old woman died by homicide, and a 55-year-old man died by suicide. They lived in the Coleman residence together.

No further information will be released by the RCMP on the case.
