CVRD hosting open house regarding proposed Stotan Falls project

Comox Valley Regional District wants public to understand aspects of application

The Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) is hosting an open house on Thursday, Sept. 6 for the public to learn more about the application by 3L Developments Inc. to amend the Comox Valley Regional Growth Strategy (RGS) by creating a new settlement node in Electoral Area C.

“We are encouraging residents to come out and learn more about the Regional Growth Strategy, 3L’s application and the CVRD’s process for moving forward,” said Alana Mullaly, acting general manager of planning and development services. “The public will have an opportunity to ask questions of both 3L Developments Inc. and the CVRD following individual presentations.”

The open house will be held at the Florence Filberg Centre, 411 Anderton Ave. in Courtenay. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Presentations start at 7 p.m. with a Q&A to follow.
