Travellers on Lougheed Highway can expect it to take a little longer to get over Mount Woodside, as provincial crews work on resurfacing the road.
Crews will be working Mondays through Saturdays on the highway between the Hammersly Pump and the Harrison River Bridge, starting on Monday, May 27. The work is expected to end around the end of June, weather depending.
Single-lane alternating traffic will be in effect throughout the construction period.
Drivers are asked to obey traffic controllers and allow for additional time in their commute.
