Developers, municipality discuss Hunters Hill project

Meeting includes tour of lots and discussion of servicing requirements

Mayor Toni Boot met recently with the Hunters Hill Development Group to discuss servicing requirements and tour the first phase lots.

“The Hunters Hill housing development will have a long-term positive impact on Summerland’s economy,” Mayor Toni Boot said.

“The construction phases will create employment opportunities for local tradespeople and local home builders. The district congratulates the Hunters Hill Development Group on this vision and we are looking forward to on-site work beginning this fall.”

The development is on more than 65 hectares of land outside the Agricultural Land Reserve.
