The North Okanagan will host its first party leader during the provincial election.
NDP leader Adrian Dix will speak at Vernon’s Schubert Centre Sunday at 6:30 p.m.
Dix will be joined by Vernon-Monashee candidate Mark Olsen and Shuswap candidate Steve Gunner.
“It shows he supports us and has faith in our campaigns,” said Olsen, adding that the NDP are aggressively targeting Liberal-held constituencies across B.C..
“Adrian Dix has said there is no safe riding in the province. The people of Vernon are important to Adrian and he’s been coming here for years.”
