Attack took place on June 26 in Duncan

North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP are seeking help from the public in identifying the suspect in a sexual assault that happened in June.

In the early hours of June 26, a woman was sexually assaulted by an unknown man in the Duncan area.

The man is described as white, about 40 years old with light stubble on his face, short grey hair with some gel texture, and a larger build.

The man was driving an SUV which is described as possibly a 2017-18 White Acura MDX or RDX.

It may have been seen in either the 2700-block of Beverly Street and/or the Cowichan Bay area.
