Dress code back on the table at SD61 meeting this week

The board will also meet to discuss lunch monitors and international student program

The public are invited to attend SD61’s Standing Committee meeting where the board will discuss, among other things, the update on the hotly debated district dress code.

The meeting – held once a month by the Education Policy and Directions Committee – will also consider the implementing lunch monitors for elementary schools, the International Student Program Strategic Plan, a potential moratorium on naming school sites and a review of the authorized curriculum.

Parents, guardians and educators are encouraged to attend the public meeting, Monday, Dec. 4 at 7 p.m. at the Tolmie Board Office (556 Boleksine Road).
