Drive BC is reporting fog patches along Hwy 97C between West Kelowna and Pennask Summit.
At approximately 12:12 p.m. on Jan. 12, the service issued a release stating there is “limited visibility with fog between Highway 97 and Brenda Mine Rd for 22.9 km”, starting from West Kelowna to 10 km west of Pennask Summit.
Also, at 12:18 p.m. on Jan. 12, Drive BC reported fog patches between Trepanier Rd and Pennask Summit for 9.7 km.
Drivers are urged to drive with caution and slow down when visibility is limited. Ensure vehicle fog lights and head and tail lights are on to alert other drivers on the road.
