Two vehicle passengers ended up in hospital for minor injuries after a Saturday morning rollover on Highway 97 in South Quesnel.
Sgt. Darren Dodge said there were five passengers in the vehicle, including one who was in the trunk. Two people were taken to hospital for minor injuries, and later released.
The single vehicle rolled between Maple Drive and Balsam Avenue on Highway 97 at 3:46 a.m., the RCMP told the Observer.
“The driver fled the scene of the incident, but was later located and identified,” said Sgt. Dodge.
Dodge was not able to release information on the suspected cause of the incident, saying the investigation is ongoing.
