A dump-truck driver in Abbotsford is facing $1,000 in fines and had his vehicle pulled off the road on Thursday for several infractions, including six brakes that weren’t working.
The Abbotsford Police Department posted on its social media platforms that traffic enforcement officer Const. Pete Quaglia pulled over the truck and trailer because it was spewing gravel.
The post said that a truck inspection found that the vehicle had six brakes not working, one shock disconnected, the U-bolts missing off one axle and the “windshield wipers washer” not working.
The dump truck was pulled off the road, with more inspections ordered.
