An elderly woman has been taken to hospital after being struck by a vehicle on Quadra Street.
The incident happened at approximately 11 a.m., at the intersection of Quadra and Cloverdale.

Police at the scene were speaking to the male driver of a white van, who pulled over in the northbound lane of Quadra Street, a few feet past the intersection.
The driver of the van was uninjured, but shaken up, according to Black Press Media reports from the scene. The elderly woman was taken to hospital with non-life threatening lacerations.
Police say the van was turning right from Cook Street onto Quadra at the time.
