Just before 9 p.m on Saturday, emergency crews were called in to assist an injured mountain biker on Sumas Mountain.
Assistant fire chief Craig Bird said the mountain biker crashed on a downhill ride.
He said the exact location of the biker was difficult to find as his friend was not exactly sure where they were.
Crews did precautionary medical procedures and the biker’s condition is stable, said Bird.
He said about once or twice a month, crews are called to Sumas Mountain to assist mountain bikers.
He said if bikers can provide their GPS co-ordinates it is helpful.
