Emergency crews attend logging truck rollover north of Campbell River

Single-lane alternating traffic resumed by early afternoon

Traffic is moving on the Island Highway approximately eight kilometres north of Campbell River after a logging truck rolled onto its side earlier this afternoon.

The road had been closed as emergency crews attended the scene.

By 1:25 p.m., the road was open to single-lane alternating traffic, but traffic remained backed up for several kilometres south of Barge Terminal Road.
