A single-vehicle collision north of Williams Lake Tuesday afternoon has sent two people to hospital with undetermined injuries.
RCMP, B.C. Ambulance and McLeese Lake Volunteer Fire Dept. attended the crash along with Central Cariboo Search and Rescue, said CCSAR Chief Rick White.
The crash occurred about two kilometres north of Lynes Creek Road on Highway 97, White said, noting the pickup truck involved was travelling northbound when it went off road right.
“It went up the hill, crashed through a barbed wire fence and into a tree, knocking the tree down,” White said. “We had to use the jaws of life at the scene.”
